Within Reach is an exhibition celebrating the unique and diverse artistic voices of the 2024 Class of Undergraduate Visual Arts students at Columbia University and Barnard College. The title connotes both the burgeoning nature of these artists’ careers as well as the often intimate and introspective quality of their work. The exhibition is organized by Jacqueline Yu (CC’24) and Victoria Reshetnikov (CC’24), the latter of which is also featured in the show.

Within Reach is on view at the NYC Culture Club (185 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10006) from August 8th to September 8th, Wednesdays through Sundays from 12 - 7 PM. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, August 8th from 6 - 9 PM. It is free to visit.

Victoria Reshetnikov is a New York based artist that centers urban place and post-modern considerations of space in her interdisciplinary practice. Raised in Queens, she is deeply invested in defining and unraveling urban vernacular aesthetics she finds in her explorations of archives and daily life. Her work utilizes mapping and architecture as frameworks to deliver found objects, local advertisements, and other colloquial city symbols, often enveloped in layers of multimedia making.
